Before Selvedge was a studio, it was a system built inside Urban Darzi - India's first label fully dedicated to upcycling.

New clothes made from old ones: genuine circular production, not deadstock relabelled. We built it from zero - modular outerwear, upcycled capsule drops, a repeatable method that held a consistent point of view across a collection. The constraint of working from existing material became the thing that made the product distinct, and underneath it ran the frameworks that connected circularity to scale.
